E3 2008: Wii Sports Resort Announced

Nintendo have just announced the sequel to Wii Sports, which will come bundled with the MotionPlus attachment: Wii Sports Resort.
This sequel to the popular Wii Sports makes use of the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which is included with Wii Sports Resort as well as an extended Wii Remote Jacket. Wii MotionPlus plugs into the base of the Wii Remote controller and, combined with the accelerometer and sensor bar, provides an experience that gives players an even greater sense of immersion.
Three minigames were demonstrated at Nintendo's E3 conference today: the first being Disc Dog - a frisbee game in which you throw a frisbee to an on-screen dog (Nintendo exec Cammie Dunway demonstrated how the MotionPlus affected hand movements extremely realistically on-screen).
Head of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime proceeded to show off Power Cruising: a jet ski game which used the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, before challenging Dunway to Sword Play (with controls which are damn close to 1:1). Players begin by testing their skills against wood blocks, before taking on each other on a podium suspended high above the ocean.
"That's why they call me the Reggienator," proclaimed our frightening Nintendo of America president as he struck his minion down, only to be cast down by Dunway in a rematch. "I think we've seen the birth of the Camminator," he quipped. The game is scheduled for Spring 2009.
