EA reveals 600,000 units of EA Sports Active have been shipped, with new content on the horizon...

Electronic Arts today issued a press release confirming that its EA Sports Active has sold 600,000 units worldwide in just two weeks of being available. The game is geared to getting people exercising in their living rooms - a lot like Nintendo's own Wii Fit, although with less of an emphasis on the Wii Balance Board (it's supported but not required).

Additionally, GoNintendo is reporting that an expansion pack for the title is being prepped for release towards the end of this year, which is expected to feature even more exercises and the like.
