E3 2009: Miyamoto Talks Zelda Wii

Shigeru Miyamoto divulges details on the next Zelda title for the Wii!

At a roundtable event behind closed doors at E3 this evening, legendary Nintendo game designer spoke about the as-yet unnamed future Zelda game for the Wii. He brought along a piece of concept art for the game, showing an adult Link more grown up than ever before and a lady in a blue dress and cap, presumably Zelda.

Miyamoto said it'd be announced properly at E3 next year, and will likely be MotionPlus compatible, possibly exclusively so, depending on how well MotionPlus does this year. Said Miyamoto:

"Think of Zelda while you're trying some of the archery and sword play in Wii Sports Resort ... There are people who think of Zelda more as an RPG with simpler controls, so trying to figure out how to make everybody happy is something that's going to concern me."

Miyamoto's roundtable also included several other tidbits on various upcoming titles, full details of which can be found here!
