Nintendo is set to launch some new colours in Japan later this year. Screens inside!
Nintendo of Japan's site has had a little update this week, during the biggest game event of the year. Nintendo has now unveiled a new colour for both the Wii and DSi.
The DSi will be coloured red for it's release on July 11th, which isn't surprising given the various colours that are already available for the DSlite. But perhaps slightly more surprising is the launch of the Wii's first new colour, scheduled to get released on the same day as the highly acclaimed Monster Hunter 3. The black coloured Nintendo Wii will be released on August 1st, and Capcom is taking full advantage of this.
Capcom will now be releasing a black controller pack for Monster Hunter 3 along with the white colour, which includes a classic controller and it's shell. And to take advantage of this new colour, Capcom will be releasing a new bundle consisting of the black Wii, Monster Hunter 3 and the classic controller and the shell. Unfortunately, no word has been mentioned whether either of these colours will make it out of Japan.
Will this help boost the Wii sales in Japan, as well as Monster Hunter 3? Post your opinions below.
