Mario is back for more platforming sweetness, this time on Wii in four-player co-op!

With rumours abound that this E3 would see a brand new Mario title, many were suspecting a Mario Galaxy sequel (which would be nice but, realistically, would probably be too soon development-wise after the original). Instead, Nintendo have surprised us all by announcing Mario will be back on the Wii in 2D form, just like in New Super Mario Bros. for the DS but now for four players!

It'll be out Holiday 2009 for Wii!
