While Nintendo have wowed audiences with the unveiling of the Nintendo 3DS yesterday, a few details were omitted - namely the release date and the price. Head inside for answers...
Speaking to Eurogamer at E3 a spokesman from Nintendo UK confirmed that there is a chance it wouldn't be released here until early next year.
At least one territory will see the console this year, presumably Japan, and Nintendo are working on getting the machine out globally in time for the busy holiday period at the end of the year. However, he did acknowledge that there is a chance that Nintendo may not be able to meet this and it may slip into early 2011.
For now we'll just have to wait for official launch details but we'd imagine Nintendo would kick themselves if they couldn't get this console into stores for Christmas. Keep checking back for updated information as we receive it.
