E3 2010: 3DS Online Features Revealed

EA's Ryan Stradling reveals some interesting features about the 3DS' online capabilities...
With new developer interviews about the 3DS now up on Nintendo's very own E3 site, EA's Ryan Stradling was one of them, in which he mentioned some very interesting aspects about the console.
In regards to the 3DS's online, Ryan stated that "playing games is about playing games with my friends, and I want to know what my other friends are playing online. And that's going to give me the ability, and it's also going to let me know that - sports scores, because I'm interested in sports,". The interview also told us that we will get real time updates, such as showing what games your friends are currently playing.
Also mentioned was how players could exchange their achievements with other players that they may come across, alluding to the 3DS games having unlockable achievements. Whether any of this is for the actual system itself or if it is just for EA's games remains to be verified.
