Nintendo have revealed their next handheld - full details on the Nintendo 3DS inside!

Six years on from launching the Nintendo DS, the company's new handheld will feature a wider full 3D top screen and a 'Slide Pad' for analogue controls, as well as a D-Pad. The system also boasts a gyro sensor and motion sensor.

The system will feature a 3DS slider for turning the 3D functions off, fully on, or anywhere in between. The 3DS has two camera lenses, allowing for 3D pictures. It'll also be available to display 3D movies - including titles such as 'How To Train Your Dragon'. How these will be bought has not yet been confirmed.

As expected, it's also compatible with DS and DSi titles. For the 3DS, the main title shown was a brand new Kid Icarus title - Kid Icarus Uprising, "coming soon".
