E3 2010: E3 & The World Cup

E3 and the World Cup are about to kick off and will run simultaneously. Don't worry however - N-Europe has figured out when any clashes occur for you.

Due to E3 now taking place later in the summer months, this year provides a conflict for gaming and football fans, as for the first time ever E3 and the World Cup are running at the same time!

Unfortunately this means a few games clash with some conferences but forum member jayseven has thankfully figured out exactly when these clashes will occur.

Monday June 14th 2010
E3: Microsoft - Xbox 360 Media Briefing - 18:30 PM GMT
World Cup: Italy Vs. Paraguay 19:30 GMT

Tuesday June 15th 2010
E3: Nintendo - Nintendo Media Briefing - 17:00 PM GMT
World Cup: Ivory Coast Vs. Portugal 15:00PM GMT

E3: Sony - Sony Media Briefing - 20:00 PM GMT
World Cup: Brazil Vs. North Korea 19:30 GMT

Wednesday June 16th 2010
E3: Konami - Konami Media Conference - 21:00 PM GMT
World Cup: South Africa Vs. Uruguay - 19.30PM GMT

All other planned conferences will not clash with The World Cup (unless they have to be rescheduled due to some unforeseen circumstances). Obviously N-Europe will keep you up-to-date during E3 and will provide you with live coverage during Nintendo's conference as quickly as our fingers can type.

Anyone who has visited our forums for several years will know that we typically close down boards periodically during conferences due to the increased server strain. This will still happen this year but the World Cup forum will remain open throughout meaning you won't have to decide between two passions.
