Okamiden promises not only one of the cutest protagonists to ever hit the Nintendo DS but also to live up to its predecessor's top-notch gameplay and story.

Okami was originally released for the PS2 many years ago but got a Wii update recently. Now Okamiden is in the works for the Nintendo DS and promises all the beauty, depth and enjoyability of the original.

In this title players take on the role of Chibiterasu and once again must use the Celestial Paintbrush to protect the land. The game is due for release in 2011 but for now you can enjoy the trailer below or view the screenshots.
