Fans of the King of Pop will soon be able to step into his shoes and try their hands, or should I say feet, at the moonwalk.
Michael Jackson will always be remembered for a number of things but one aspect that many fans respect and admire him for is his signature dance moves. Ubisoft, fresh off the success of Just Dance, are offering gamers the chance to play as Jackson himself and dance along to his famous songs.
The only songs to be confirmed so far are Beat It and Billie Jean but expect many more from his catalogue to be confirmed before the game's release on the Nintendo Wii and DS this Christmas.
Speaking about the game Michael Jackson Estate Co-Executor John McClain said: "No artist can energise a dance floor in the spirit of fun like Michael Jackson. His God-given gifts for music and dance are something new generations of fans will appreciate even more.
"This game is a natural extension of what he would be doing today to raise his artistry to even greater heights for his fans of all generations. It is a game that the entire family can experience and enjoy together and this is something that would please Michael tremendously."
With the amount of Michael Jackson inspired acts on popular television shows such as Britain's Got Talent there is no doubt this game will be huge when released toward the end of the year.
