E3 2010: THQ Wants Muscular Women

Are you a woman? Are you strong or Asian? THQ wants your body...

Misogyny is back on the agenda today, as THQ looks committed to continuing the notorious tradition of 'booth babes' at E3. Every year, scantily-clad ladies of varying underwear sizes adorn the designated areas of certain publishers to attract sweaty journalists like blond, thick-accented sirens.

THQ have recently put out the call to some desperately-needed meat-sacks of the female variety, lest no-one may actually turn up to play any of their games. The questionably specific cretiria is as follows:

  • 10 obviously strong/muscular attractive women of any race. Must be at least 5'7 without heels. (This is for a WWE game. You'll probably meet some wrestlers!)
  • 10 attractive Asian females, at least 5'7. (For a North Korean, war based game.)

Crucially, and quite frankly we're relieved about it, THQ have also specified what will be expected of the lucky twenty intellectuals who pass this bodily challenge, citing "all you have to do is party around certain tables and look good!"

There's no word yet on whether any big names will be appearing at THQ's E3 booth, but last time we checked, Kerry Katona looked like she was butching up for something.

We'll bring you all the latest on these developments as it breaks.
