E3 2011: EA Says Mass Effect 'Nice Fit' For Wii U

Could Mass Effect make an appearance on Nintendo's next console? Don't rule it out...

While EA had no concrete Wii U games to show off at E3 this week, the company has been voicing some pretty big support for Nintendo's next console. As well as the usual range of EA Sports games in development, the company heavily implied during Nintendo's conference that the likes of Battlefield 3 will be released on Wii U.

One of the company's biggest 2012 titles is Mass Effect 3 - BioWare's latest sci-fi, action RPG. Upon being asked whether the game would find its way over to Wii U, EA Games' Frank Gibeau told Gametrailers via ONM said that nothing was official, but hinted that gamers may want to keep an eye out in future.

"I can't say we are going to do it on the Wii U, but you can imagine what we could do with that controller in the Mass Effect universe. It feels like a really nice fit, but we'll announce that when the time is right."

What would you like to see from a Wii U version of Mass Effect? Sound off below.
