In a newly translated interview with Nikkei, Iwata talks briefly about the console price.

While talking to Japanese magazine Nikkei, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata has went on to briefly talk about the pricing of the console, stating that the Wii U could be priced higher than �20,000, which briefly comes to $250 and �150

Iwata was also cited as saying "Nintendo is unlikely to sell the new console for the same price as the current Wii". Full pricing and launch details will be revealed later.
