Shigeru Miyamoto talks about the difficulty of creating a Zelda title for the Wii U.
During the E3 conference Nintendo showcased a high definition version of The Legend of Zelda, available to view here, leading fans to temporarily believe it was confirmed for the console before being told otherwise.
However it is safe to say Nintendo is working on a Zelda title for the new console. Zelda Informer quote Shigeru Miyamoto discussing the difficulties he faces in making a Zelda title for the Wii U. In the News Corp interview he rather simply states that it will be more difficult to make and not elaborating any more on why.
He does not make it clear in what manner it will be more difficult to make but the new console's graphical power means for the first time the series could theoretically take a more detailed visual style, something some fans have been hoping for since it was first teased for the GameCube. Whether choosing to go with that visual style or stick to one of the previous visual styles is what is causing troubles for Mr. Miyamoto is unknown but he usually ends up doing the right thing.
