Jonathan Slaczka discusses Wii U and his company's excitement over what it can offer.
5th Cell's Scribblenauts and its follow up Super Scribblenauts were two of the most interesting DS games due to the way they played - you would type in words and objects would appear that you then use to progress.
During E3 Jonathan Slaczka, creative director of 5th Cell, was asked what he thought about the newly announced Wii U and seems very keen on it. Speaking to Official Nintendo Magazine he revealed that the idea of asymmetrical gameplay intrigues him:
"What's really excited excited me as a developer with the new controller is the plethora of new options you have. You have the touch screen and the controller all in one. One thing that's really cool about this new tablet controller is that you have the ability to have asymmetrical gameplay. So one player can be doing one thing while another player can be doing something else on the TV. One player can be a doctor and he's sitting there operating on the controller while there's a EMT (emergency medical technician) in an ambulance having to pick up patients to the doctor."
