Nintendo won't be holding an E3 conference this year but Reggie Fils-Aime and Shigeru Miyamoto will still be hosting an event which is set to take place on June 11th.
It's an invite-only event set for the media and will take place at the Nintendo Booth in the LA Convention Centre. The event is set to begin with some 'opening remarks'. After this, attendees will be able to play some of the games on offer (with Mario Kart and a new 3D Mario game confirmed to be making an appearance) as well as the chance to partake in a question and answer session.
As well as this, Nintendo are also set to provide fans with E3 news via their usual (and ever popular) Nintendo Direct.
What do you make of this? Do you think it makes up for the lack of a full conference? Join in the E3 debate here.
