Last week it was revealed that EA had no plans to release games on the Wii U in the near future, with big titles such as Madden and FIFA skipping the console. 

It seems though that EA are making titles for the system after all, just not as many as they are for the Xbox One and Playstation 4. 

"You know, I think Nintendo's business was more of [an] extension of their last console. We are building titles for the Nintendo console, but not anywhere near as many as we are for the PlayStation or Xbox."

EA have yet to confirm just what games are coming to the Wii U but it seems that Madden NFL 25 and FIFA 14 aren't two of those titles. 

The Wii saw a handful of exclusive titles from EA, such as MySims, so whether EA will go down this route and develop a few smaller titles dedicated to the system is yet to be seen.
