Cube-Europe today had a chat with Phil Robinson, PR Manager of Midway Europe. Unfortunately, he couldn't bring us all good news.

We will start off with the good news. Midway announced two new titles to be released in Europe, that will also be released for the Nintendo GameCube. The games we are refering to are Area 51 and NARC.

Ok, now brace yourself for the bad news...

Phil told us that Freaky Flyers, NHF Hitz Pro, Freestyle MX, and Roadkill will not be released in Europe. The reason for this is because the company is having some financial problems. Midway Europe would have loved releasing them in Europe for the GameCube, but were told to cancel them by Midway USA.

Fortunately, we will not have to import all the Midway GameCube titles as the company will still be releasing Spy Hunter 2, The Suffering, and Arcade Treasure for the Nintendo GameCube in Europe Q1 2004.
