Nintendo has revealed the next main entry in the Fatal Frame series, which will be exclusive on Wii U.

Once again, Nintendo is partnering with Tecmo Koei to create and release the title, which is called Fatal Frame: Nuregarasu no Miko. The story follows a young protagonist as she ventures into the 'mountain of death' in order to search for her lost friend. Astonishingly, the mountain is haunted by ghosts, who can only be tamed with a camera.

The Wii U GamePad can be used as the 'projection machine', and you can control it like a real camera in order to fend off the nasty spirits.

The game is set to be released in Japan this September. No western release has been mooted yet, but the past couple of titles have seen release in Europe, so fingers crossed.
