Feature: Clone Wars Eye Candy

Eye Candy is back after an absence. For its return edition we're looking at yesterdays new screens of the brilliant Star Wars Clone Wars. Suffice to say, this is one game that should be on your must-buy list.

-We wouldn't have a clue what part of the game this screenshot is from if it wasn't for the appearance of "Blue Base". It shows that this is from the multiplayer mode Conquest.
-In case you don't know, I'll explain what Conquest is all about. It's definitely the most promising of the multiplayer modes. Each player is given a base (Red Base, Blue Base etc.) and they must destory their opponents base while protecting their own. Scattered throughout the level are points that reward you with units or sentry guns or whatever the longer one of your units spends in it. Great fun.

-This is clearly a shot from one of the flight sections of the game. My guess is that when it's a 3rd-person camera then the map is shown (notice it in the other screens) but once you switch into 1st-person in the vehicle it isn't there.

-Ah, the D-Pad commands from Rogue Leader is back (top-right), hopefully they'll have more use than in RL.
-In the bottom-right there is an armour meter and weapon meter. The green shape is the armour of the vehicle (anyone recognise it? I can't remember seeing this in Episode II, it must be one of the developers creations), it's almost full.
-The orangey yellow bar seems to be some kind of weapon meter, for the primary weapon (probably a laser or something). Perhaps you can't use it for too long, you have to let it charge or something. While the "17" is the number of missiles (note the pic beside it).

-Wow, this certainly looks exciting. I cannot wait for this game, nothing like being thrown into the middle of a Star wars Battle. Mmmmmmmm.
-The layout of the bottom-right has changed only with the shape of the armour meter, obviously resembling the craft. But notice the pic has changed from the arrows of the pervious screen to a line or something. The missiles remain.
-The missile and explosion effects are quite impressive, it looks as if you can lock on your missiles to certain targets.

-This takes place in the same level as the third screenshot, I've still no clue what that green bar at the top of the screen is about. Anyone any ideas?
