Feature: Eye Candy - Bounty Hunter

Welcome to a new feature at Cube-Europe, Eye Candy. In each one we'll be looking at newly-released screenshots and drawing as much information from them as we can. We know, we know, you shouldn't judge a game too much from screenshots but sometimes shots are all we have on a game or lack of released details forces us to analyse screens. In this edition we cast our eyes over yesterdays Star Wars Bounty Hunter.

-Jango Fetts double blasters in full effect. The ability to target two enemies at once is a cracker, and is sure to provide laughs. It'll surely make hectic combat situations much easier.
-When I heard about the twin blaster idea, I thought it'd only really work when the two enemies were in the same overall direction, like beside eachother. But this shot shows the great range available between the two blasters.
-Lovely, lovely effects on the blaster, especially on enemy impact.

-Looks to be a city area, probably filled with bars, in true Star Wars style.
-The meter in the bottom-left of the screen is obviously a ammo meter for the blasters, it's full in the screen above and half empty here.

-Jango looks to have a host of acrobatics at his use, strafting, rolling, dodging. You'll definitely need them when facing enemies who are armed to the teeth.
-This is the same level as the screen above, browny/orangy textures and industrial buildings.
-That slight fogging is worth concern, especially since this isn't a huge, sprawling landscape but a tight city area. Probably be sorted out be release though.

-Ah, the jetpack in all its glory.
-It looks like the blasters are automatically aimed at enemies in this shot. This is undoubtedly good news, as controlling the jetpack and aiming the blasters at once may be confusing and difficult.
-The meter in the bottom-left is obviously a jetpack power meter. It's full here. I'd wager it repowers while it's inactive.
-Laser battles look great, I'm very excited about the combat in Bounty Hunter.

This is the last Eye Candy for a week, as tomorrow I'm going on hols.
