Feature: Importing

Although I would usually go in to some depth on a Monday, today I am going to be short and sweet, in fact you can hardly even call it an article but full service will be resumed as from Friday. To be frank I had written a piece before about importing however with the announcement that Nintendo will launch the Gamecube only weeks after February it seemed pointless.
I was reading a magazine that had an interview from Shelly Friend one of the top bods for Nintendo Europe. She stated that the PAL cube will be very different from the NTSC ones. This rung alarm bells as it would seem to suggest that the PAL cube may not be so easy to mod which is not good for us. This may seem like a shameless plug but the offers on the Cube Europe site are very good. They are right at the very top. Pre modded cubes are really a fantastic idea. It means you can play US and Jap games. The problem always has been that the games cost a fortune to import. Go to www.dvdboxoffice.com there you can get a game for an amazing 35. It’s from Canada but they will ship worldwide for free and it works!! When you think that you can get a cube from Gamecube Europe for only $259 it seems silly to do anything else.
