Final Fantasy Explorers heading to Europe

Square-Enix has announced that the 3DS-exclusive Final Fantasy Explorers will be heading to the west early next year.

The quest-based RPG will look familiar to anyone who's ever had the Monster Hunter bug, but its team-based mechanics also have their roots in the under-appreciated Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.

In Explorers, you can team up with up to three other players and go hunting familiar monsters from the Final Fantasy universe. As is to be expected, you can take advantage of a wide range of jobs to suit your battling style. The game has single-player, as well as local and online multiplayer modes.

Final Fantasy Explorers will release in Europe on January 29th 2016, three days after North America. It originally released in Japan at the end of 2014.
