Fans of retro platforming goodness should turn their attention to the eShop later this week, as Renegade Kid's Mutant Mudds gets ready to receive a free, substantial update. This will add the extra content that was created for the game's PC release.

After the update, you'll find that every one of Mutant Mudd's 20 levels will have been added with an extra 'CGA-Land' door, which leads to a new, hidden stage.

That's essentially an extra 20 new stages to enjoy.

However, such is the expert nature of the new levels, you'll need to have unlocked Grannie - who is the only character to be able to wield more than one power-up at once - to take them on. You unlock Grannie upon completing all the original levels 100%.
