A brand new on-rails shooter called Green Phoenix is now available on the Nintendo Switch. It seems to have an interesting premise, in addition to belonging to a genre which hasn't been that prominent, save for a selection of a few titles over the past couple of decades.

Green Phoenix is an on-rails arcade-like space shooter melted with a deep narrative experience which focuses on the concept of ego and the true meaning of freedom.

On a fully technologized and authoritarian society, we take the role of the spaceship Green Phoenix’s IA as it remembers its dead pilot, Dana, and embarks on a journey for revenge.
