GSL 2004: The Nintendo Booth

Ah! The pictures of the Nintendo booth have arrived. Head inside for the full scoop...

Nintendo had some minor issues at the beginning of the Game Stars Live show because of a power failure. Fortunately, they were able to get the GameCube and GBA pods back up and running later in the morning.

The Nintendo stand, a great British seaside themed set, offers visitors the opportunity to experience all the fun of Nintendo. They can cower with fright in the Haunted Mansion, shout 'FORE!' in Mario's Crazy Golf course, and slide down a fully working, giant ten metre high helter skelter. We actually went down this slide... probably to be seen in our upcoming booth video.

Visitors to the show can also test their skills in energetic competitions and bongo master classes held on the Nintendo and Game Stars Live stages.

Also playable at the show are Mario Tennis, Metroid Prime 2, Pikmin 2, WWE Reckoning, LOTR Third Age, Shark Tale, The Incredibles, and Shark Tale. Expect a couple of hands-on reports and videos during the upcoming days!

As you can see the Nintendo Pier was very popular, and people had to queue up for quite a while before they were able to get their hands on the games. Rest assured for people still going, it is worth the wait! Enjoy the pictures.
