Following the debut of Game Stars Live, European Games Network and European Developer Forum in London last week, organiser London Event has issued attendance figures and feedback from the events.
Attendance for Game Stars Live topped 51,400 across the five days. Saturday September 4th proved the most popular day, with over 17,000 visitors admitted through the doors. The first year attendance for Game Stars Live makes it the most successful UK gaming expo debut ever.
EGN attracted 3,700 of the industry's most important delegates across its three days, including 1,400 of the invited VIPs, 1,500 paying delegates and 800 members of the press. In all, delegates and press from 45 countries attended, with the trade show visitor feedback the most positive the computer and video games industry has had for years.
The shows for 2005 have already been announced; EGN 2005 will run from Wed 31st August Friday 2nd September 2005, and Game Stars Live will run from Wed 31st August Sunday September 4th at ExCeL's exhibition facility in Docklands, London.
Roger Bennett concluded: "We look forward to welcoming the whole industry and its consumers to ExCeL next year, so get those dates in your diaries now."
