You can now give your 3DS home menu a custom make-over following a system update issued today.

After updating your firmware, your home menu will gain a 'Change Theme' section under the settings tab. From the off, you will have access to five new simple colour changes for your home menu: red, blue, yellow, pink, and black.

But there is also a new Theme Shop, in which you can purchase special menu themes, many of which even come with their own menu music.

Simple-patterned themes go for 89p a pop, whilst the wealth of Nintendo-themed menus are £1.79 each.
