Japanese charts - Bravely Default knocked off the top, but holds strong

After an auspicious start, Square-Enix's original JRPG Bravely Default: Flying Fairy looks to be making a statement of intent, enjoying a strong second week in the midst of reportedly low stock.

The drop meant that the latest game in Level-5's Little Battlers series - one of the publishers more 'exploited' franchises - went straight to number one.

Less good news is reserved for Bandai Namco's Project X Zone on 3DS - the mass cross-over game is struggling to make a blockbuster impact, sitting at under 100k copies sold after two weeks.

Here is the full Media Create top 20 for the week of October 15th to 21st.

In the hardware chart, things are settling back down after a few weeks of various price drops, new colours and big releases. A brace of new Vita titles in the software chart was not enough to give Sony's handheld a meaningful boost, as it sits at under 7k for the second week running.
