2019 marks the 50th Anniversary of Konami. In celebration they are releasing several 50th Anniversary Collections. Three of these have been announced for a number of platforms including the Nintendo Switch. All these bundles will be digital, and will contain eight games plus an eBook with extras such as interviews with the staff.

The first to release is Anniversary Collection Arcade Classics, a bundle that includes eight classic titles: Haunted Castle, Typhoon (A-Jax), Nemesis (Gradius), Vulcan Venture (Gradius III), Life Force (Salamander), Thunder Cross, Scramble and Twinbee. This bundle is coming to the US on April 18th for a price of $19,99. No official European release has been mentioned.

Castlevania Anniversary Collection will contain eight classic titles from the franchise. Only the first four games of the bundle have been announced: Castlevania, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge and Super Castlevania IV. Four mystery games will be revealed later. This collection is set for early summer 2019.

Finally, Contra Anniversary Collection is coming, also in early summer 2019. This collection will offer eight games from the series (which you may also know as Probotector here in Europe): Contra, Super Contra, Super C, and Contra III: The Alien Wars . The four remaining titles still remain a secret.
