Level 5's Time Travellers makes poor Japanese debut, Pokémon still top

For a fourth consecutive week since its launch, Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 have remained firmly at the top of the Japanese software chart.

The DS games are now well in track to fly past the 2.5 million in the near future, leaving the potential to one day grow the 3DS base tantalising to say the least.

New releases this week included Level-5's high-profile adventure game Time Travellers. The game raised a few eyebrows when it was teased by the publisher a couple of years ago, but it seems it has amounted to a fairly pitiful opening, failing to debut with over 10k on both 3DS abd Vita.

Better news for Nintendo, with the low-key football-sim Calciobit making a decent opening.

Here is the Media Create software chart for the week of July 9th to 15th.

There's little to inspire much movement in the hardware chart. With the 3DS XL launching at the end of the month, the platform is on a steady decline, but remains strongly ahead of everything else.
