Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is finally here, the updated 3DS port featuring everyone’s second favourite plumber!

It seems to be faring well in reviews, as it has a current Metacritic score of 78 from 55 reviews!

The general consensus seems to be that it’s a nice return to what was a stellar 3DS game, with some clean visual improvements, but not much in the way of new content, and the game itself doesn’t quite match the quality of the previous Switch instalment – Luigi’s Mansion 3.

Digital Foundry did their usual job of digging into the technical aspects of the title, and they’re pretty impressed, as the title holds a consistent 30fps unlike its 3DS counterpart, with some nice anti-aliasing and much improved character models to top things off:
