Mario Kart 8 races into stores on May 30th. Nintendo has just unveiled the Limited Edition version that comes bundled with a Spiny Shell Collectors item. Now you can be haunted by the notorious Spiny Shell away from the game too!

According to the promotion trailer below; pre-orders are now available via Nintendo's online store. Pre-ordering either the standard Mario Kart 8 game, or the Limited Edition bundle at retail will provide fans with a bonus keyring too.

There are three types: A Red Shell (Nintendo's online store), Golden Dash Mushroom (Littlewoods and Very) & the Bullet Bill (Grainger Games, Game Centre, 365 Games (online only), Game Seek (online only), Base.com (online only), Playtime, The Games Exchange, That Game Shop, Gamescene, Xpress Games).

Pre-ordering the Limited Edition bundle from the online store includes Mario Kart 8, the Limited Edition Blue Shell Figurine, a Red Shell Keyring and a Bullet Bill T-Shirt (avaialble in small, medium, large & extra large sizes).

Just to be on the safe side, make sure that you put the Spiny Shell at the front of your collection.
