Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros. on Nintendo 3DS has received a surprise fast-track, and will now launch in Europe on December 4th.

Announced at E3, Paper Jam Bros. throws together the worlds of the two individually successful Mario RPG spin-offs - Paper Mario, and Mario & Luigi. Paper Jam Bros. will feature both the visual styles and gameplay elements of each series.

It was originally scheduled for a loose '2016' release in the west, but the advancement of the launch date is a small mitigation for Nintendo fans who have already suffered delays to both The Legend of Zelda and Star Fox: Zero.

Paper Jam Bros. will launch on the same day as fellow RPG Xenoblade Chronicles X.
