Mario returns to the top in lacklustre week for Japanese charts

A quick Japanese sales update before we all get drunk on Wii U information, although truth be told, it isn't exactly a vintage week.
A handful of new titles make the top 20, though none makes a particularly strong impression, with 3DS stalwart New Super Mario Bros. 2 returning to the top spot. Depressingly, five titles that made their debuts last week see their sales drop over 80% in their second week.
Here is the entirely unspectacular software top 20 for the week of September 3rd to 9th.

The story is no more interesting in the hardware chart. Vita's new-found momentum is lost as it is found, as it races towards that drab 10k figure following last week's Miku-boost. 3DS stays comfortably top, although it shaves another 10k off its weekly total.
