Namco finally releases the debut trailer for Ace Combat's first major foray onto a Nintendo platform...

If there's one big third party series that has almost entirely eluded Nintendo consoles over the years... well, actually there are probably loads, but Ace Combat is certainly one of the many.

The stigma is changing on 3DS though, with the publisher set to release Ace Combat 3D before the end of the year. It's only the second Ace Combat title to fly onto a Nintendo platform, the first being Ace Combat Advance on GBA in 2005. It looks like the game is taking on the moniker Assault Horizon Legacy, which is a bit more of a mouthful than the Japanese title Cross Rumble.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy is due in Europe this November.
