Some new details, as well as a trailer, for BlazBlue Continuum Shift II have emerged.

The popular fighting title BlazBlue is getting a sequel and thankfully it is coming to 3DS. The console's two screens will be utilised in various ways depending on the context. During the battle mode the bottom screen will feature a move list and during story mode it will show the controls. Other modes will feature aspects such as status, player name etc.

According to Andriasang the d-pad will be used for movement, A will perform a strong attack while X will do a mid attack and Y will perform a weak attack. The B button will be used for a drive attack while R performs a rapid cancel and L blocks. The slide pad will also be used during the game. Moving it up will perform a taunt while moving it down will operate as the FN1 button.

Gamers will receive a 'Blazblue Phaze 0' prologue comic when they purchase the game. The official website will be regularly updated with news in the coming weeks, which we will report as well.
