Set far into the future of the Crystal Chronicles series, Crystal Bearers looks to sail the Final Fantasy franchise in an all new direction. Mixing real-time combat and widespread adventuring with an interesting new storyline where the Yuke race has been exterminated by Lilties, Square Enix is set to give Wii owners a real treat when Crystal Bearers releases.

Players will notice main character Layle being closely tied to a flame-haired protaginist. The pilot is a male member of the Selkie clan named Keiss, who will be on of Layle's most-trusted partners in the game.
