Sumo Digital are really pushing the envelope on Wii lately. Not only have the UK-based developer worked on bringing Virtua Tennis 09 to the system (expect a review imminently), but they're also beavering away on Formula 1 2009 and DiRT 2. The latter is a sequel to 2007's critically acclaimed Colin McRae: DiRT - only this one isn't skipping out on the little white box of tricks.
DiRT 2 on Wii features a wide variety of control options ranging from motion to classic analogue sticks, where you can manhandle those beastly vehicles around a core racing campaign, 4-player split screen (local only) and a handful of arcade challanges.
The game is set to release this September.
