While FlingSmash (formerly Span Smasher) may have been first publicly teased over a year ago, it wasn't until last week's Nintendo Media Summit that the game really got to shine.

Published by Nintendo and developed by Artoon - known perhaps mainly for Yoshi's Island DS - FlingSmash is a side-scrolling action game that relies heavily on the accuracy offered by the MotionPlus peripheral. The aim is to 'fling' your little yellow character across the screen to break blocks, collect power-ups and pick-up as many points as possible.
