It's something of a minor coup, we think. The greatest reason to use Live Arcade (maybe) is coming exclusively to the Wii and DS, in the form of sequel Geometry Wars Galaxies. Both versions will use their particular touch/motion abilities, though we're hoping they won't detract too much from the pure, frantic, simple pace of the game.

More excitingly, Videndi's press release promises multiplayer and co-op via Nintendo's WiFi, and the option to post high scores on an online leaderboard. Bonus unlockables are available by linking the two titles as well. As reported earlier, the original Live Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved will be packaged in. It's going to be brilliant.
