In a final act of stretching out the Harry Potter franchise to earn as much money keep fans happy for as long as possible, Electronic Arts has today officially announced Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, for the usual array of consoles and handhelds, including Nintendo's Wii and DS.

Like the final novel in the series the game will depart from the usual surroundings of Hogwarts, instead seeing Harry on the run from the resurgent Voldemort, collecting the final Horcruxes with which to defeat the Dark Lord.

The title is being prepped for release alongside the Deathly Hallows Part 1 movie, this November. Stay tuned for more as it breaks.
