Don't keep yourself in the dark from Hudson's gorgeous sidescrolling platformer...

The 2D platformer seems to be enjoying something of a renaissance on Wii. Aside from the record-breaking New Super Mario Bros. Wii, we've been treated to such stylish gems as A Boy and His Blob, LostWinds and Wario Land: The Shake Dimension.

Now, it looks like Hudson Soft are set to add one of its own titles to that admirable sub-set, as The Tower of Shadow shapes up to be something quite uniquely innovative.

No word on when Hudson will have the game wrapped up, outside of the vague '2010' promise. We'll have more on The Tower of Shadow for you in the near future.
