Na na na na na na na na na, Man-Bat!

Traveller's Tales appear to be doing a cracking job with their next Lego game, based on the popular DC Comics franchise, Batman. The game looks to be staying faithful to the more light-hearted Batman escapades such as the original Adam West TV show and the recent animated series, and features more maniacal villains than the Mos Eisley Catina.

The latest villain confirmed for Lego Batman is Man-Bat, a brilliant scientist whose serum to cure hearing problems resulted in his transformation into a hideously overgrown bat humanoid. Nine new screenshots have been released to show off Man-Bat terrorising Gotham City, direct your eyes further down the page to check out some visual candy.

Those claws might be just a bit frightening if we didn't already see Short Round running about like a headless chicken with the same hands back in May.

Man-Bat joins the likes of the Joker, Two-Face, Killer Croc, Mr. Freeze and the Penguin (among other scumbags). You'll be able to punch his miserable face in when the game hits the Wii and DS in September.
