Mario and Sonic once again compete in a number of Olympic events.
Sega's now-traditional Mario & Sonic Olympics tie-in is due out next month on the Nintendo Wii and fans will once again be able to compete in a number of Olympic events.
In this brand new trailer you can see the iconic characters participate in volleyball, tennis, rowing, cycling, sprinting as well as new sports such as football. Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is due out on November 18th alongside a brand new blue Wii bundle that comes with the title.
MCV has also revealed the advertising plan for Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games and it would seem that it will be hard to miss it. Sega is giving the game its biggest ever TV advertising budget, with most of the advertising to air during ITV family programmes airing in November and December. The biggest target market is housewives with children and Sega believe that 90% of the target market will see the advert 14 times.
As well as television adverts Sega's PR company Mischief PR has arranged for online adverts to appear on popular websites such as Cartoon Network, CITV and Nickelodeon. The advertising campaign is expected to run in some capacity until the end of the Olympic games next year.
