Spanish developer Joju Games have announced a new game for the WiiWare service, due to be released later this year.

Developers Joju Games have gotten in touch with N-Europe with information regarding a new game for WiiWare: Mart Racer.

It looks to be a shopping-themed version of Mario Kart's battle mode, with rival shoppers competing with each other to get all of the items on their shopping list before the others do. The trailer shows a young girl shattering an enemy shopper's face in order to yoink their bananas, before spearing a plunger at a man's head and mugging his groceries.

Mart Racer supports 4 players in local multiplayer as well as over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for online trolley-duelling fun.

Mart Racer will be out towards the end of the year.
