Media: Metal Gear Solid 3D Screens & Trailer

Konami has released some tantalising new screens and video footage of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D.

One of the most surprising and well received announcements at last year's E3 was that Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater was being remade for the 3DS. As this year's E3 is just around the corner expect a lot more of the game to be shown but for now Konami has released a few new screens and a trailer.

GameInformer report that the title will make use of the 3DS' camera and gyroscope features. The gyroscope is used to balance Snake at certain points, such as when climbing a tree or crossing a dangerous bridge.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D will also make use of the camera by allowing you to take photographs and then using those as in-game camouflage, although obviously some greenery would fare better than the number 43 bus.

Several new screenshots can be found in the game's gallery and you can watch an interview with Yoshikazu Matsuhana as well as the new trailer, available below. See if you can spot a familiar face at the end of the trailer.
