Cheesily melancholic vocal tracks are the order of the day for the latest Xenoblade trailer...
Nintendo has served up another trailer for Monolith Soft's imminent epic Xenoblade. You know the drill by now: rather than showing off any gameplay footage, the trailer pertains to the complex story Tetsuya Takahashi has promised us, though thankfully, he's also promised that he won't allow the game to be too cut-scene-heavy.
If you were wondering about the music of the game, it has been reported that there are 90 songs in the game, requiring the developers to pool the talents of a number of musicians and composers. Heading up the music of Xenoblade are renowned video game composers Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts, Little King's Story) and Yasunori Mitsuda, who previously made a name for himself scoring the Xeno series to much adoration.
Also, it's been confirmed that the script of Xenoblade has been penned by another returner to the Xeno uvre - Yuichiro Takeda also wrote screenplays for anime series such as Black Cat and Infinite Ryvius.
And if that wasn't enough to whet your appetite, the game recently scored a very impressive 9/9/9/9 in the latest issue of Famitsu.
