Capcom's does-what-it-says-on-the-tin franchise looks to have truly made the transition to a Nintendo platform in style. Previously a Playstation-only series, Capcom shifted development of the next main entry to Wii from PS3 in 2007, yet the game has never shown any sign of losing a sense of beauty and epic scale.

Monster Hunter 3 launches in Japan in August, and Capcom have released a new trailer that shows off a previously-unseen volcanic environment and equally fierce creatures.

Stick with N-E as we wait forever impatiently for that western release date...
